How it works

Protect yourself from hacker exposure by moving old emails to offline storage and removing them from your email provider

Save all your correspondence from your departing job and have a permanent record in case is needed in the future

Every email message comes in it's own folder.
Email (folders) are groupped in years (by default), based on the year the message was created/received. You can always change how the messages will be grouped before you export your emails.
Every email comes in 3 different formats: Plain Text (.txt), Viewable in a browser (.html) and EML (can be loaded into any email client).
That means you don't need specialized software to read an email!
All email attachments are included as standalone files.
Attachments of an email come in a separate 'Attachments' folder inside the email message's own folder.

An active clone of your email account will be kept safely for you on BackupYourEmail servers.
Thus you can stop worrying about loosing access to your email account because an email vendor decided to block you.
Your old emails will be fetched the first time.
All your existing emails will also get backed up along with any future incoming messages.
Syncing happens at least once per day.
So you don't loose anything in case of an unexpected event!
You can initiate an email export any time you want!
Export either the whole inbox or a set of messages by filtering emails in various ways, e.g. from a specific sender, matching a certain label, etc.
